Pierre Ehret has finished the 10.th 24h of Dubai as 6th in his class (A6-Am) and 18th overall on the Car Collection Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 with his teammates Tim Müller, Dirk Parhofer, Jürgen Krebs and Norbert Pauels. The Mercedes of the german crew crossed the finish-line after 24h and 3 minutes with 547 completed laps. Pierres crew finished 57 laps behind the victorious Black Falcon crew, which celebrated their 3rd win at the desert-classic also with a Mercedes.

Pierre was in the end satisfied with his performance : "I drove the startstint and although I had some encounters with the opponents I progressed in positions. We started as 26th and I handed over the car on P15. Our sistercar retired unfortunately after 3 hours with accident-damage. Our car also encountered some problems: a broken suspension, a damaged brakedisc and handling-problems costed us more than an hour in the pits. This explains the majority of the distance we had on the teams in front of us. Despite these circumstances I can conclude that Car Collection did a very good job at this race. The car was brand new for the team and the service for it was well organised. I felt comfortable with the team and I can imagine to join them again for another race if the possibility exists.
