The FIA-WEC-Season started well for Pierre Ehret and his teammates Dominik Farnbacher and frensh driver Francois Jakubowski. Farnbacher archieved today a class-pole with the teams Luxury Racing Ferrari F458 in the GTE-Am-class. With a 2:00.184 he was 0,745s fast than class-opponent Nic Jönsson in the Krohn Racing F458 Ferrari. P3 was archieved by ex-F1 and last years Peugeot-works-pilot Pedro Lamy in the Larbre Competition Corvette.

Ehret concluded the session: „Dominik did even have to stop his fastest lap - so we could have gone faster. We did use hard tires, because we think they will be more beneficial in tomorrows race. Also our setup-changes helped a lot. During practice we had an awful handling because the car had a too low rideheight. The qualifying result showed us that we made all the right changes for tomorrows race. For the team it was a perfect qualifying because also Jamie Melo on our 2nd car in the GTE-Pro-class archieved a 2nd in his class. Now we have to fix the strategy for tomorrows race. 12h of race action will be long, and there can happen a lot."

Tomorrows 60.th 12h of Sebring are starting at 15.30 MEZ (10.30 EST). 64 cars – one of the biggest grid in the last 15 years at the florida-classic event - are expected to start the race wich can be followed via live-streams at the websites of ALMS (alms.com) and the FIA-WEC (fiawec.com).
