With qualifying 7th in class and 46 overall Pierre Ehret concluded his qualifying-efforts for tomorrows 25th 1000km of Spa-Francorchamps. The 53 year old german sportscar driver archieved a time of 2:25,617 in his CRS-Ferrari. With this the team improved the previous best time from the free practice sessions by 0,888s.

„Maybe we could have been faster. But we were not able to cure the notorious understeer on both cars. In the very fast corners Blanchimont and Eau Rouge we were not able to go flat out and in the mid-speed corners we lost even more. But I am confident that we can go tomorrow with an average race speed of 2:26. Consistancy of the drivers will be the key for our first points.“

The 1000km of Spa-Francorchamps, which starts tomorrow with a race-format of 6h, is the 2nd round of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup. 55 Cars will start the race, including the works-squads of Peugeot and Audi, in the race that unites the grids of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup and the Le Mans Series.
